Since I started my education as yoga instructor I have been extremely busy. Normally I have time during the week to my other passions like dancing, cross fit and regular weight training, but this has been deprioritised a lot since I have to study and memorize the theory and my teaching. There’s a lot of rote learning and it has been very stressful for me since I don’t have much time before leaving to Mexico and there are sooo many things I have to do before. This photo explains it well how my life was ;):
This weekend is the last workshop weekend with rehearsal of our own yoga sekvens (verbal, non-verbal and tactical) and written exam Sunday. Therefore I have been studying a lot this week.
Yesterday I was studying again and I just missed going out dancing salsa and disconnect my head and just let the music tell my body what to do. It was so many weeks ago since I had been going out having fun. I decided to go out to Fidel’s, the local salsa club. This was maybe the best decision this week – it was a fantastic night, I met many of my friends I haven’t seen for a long time and the atmosphere was just incredible. I danced for 2 hours before heading back home.
It was nice to have this feeling of joy and playfulness again and it reminded me that I have to find time for this before I leave. It gives me so much positive energy!
Those who dance are considered insane by those who cannot hear the music.

Hope you guys have a great weekend with a dance or two 🙂
