1 DAY HIKE IN TORRES DEL PAINE: THE FERRIER LOOKOUT TREK

The Ferrier lookout trek will for always be in my memory as a mental and physical challenge that I proudly accomplished. Not because it’s difficult. It’s a hill and it takes approximate 4 hours to do: 2 hours up and 2 hours down. But I managed to get up – alone, running, sweating, cursing and with a high pulse – in 1 hour and 10 minutes! All the way up switching between thinking “the view better be worth it” and “please, give me a sign that I’m there soon”. I did it. and it was worth it. I am going to change my name! Any suggestions?

Huston, we are having a problem. Or maybe I should address my mom: Mom! We are having a problem here in Chile! The problem is my name 🙁   In Spanish “La Nana” is the person who takes care of the house and/or the kids. In Chile they put el or la in front of names so when people address me they say “ask the Nana”. So guess what, people think it´s a joke and laugh when my boss ask clients to go talk with the Nanny/housekeeper. When I then explain that it is in fact my real name then it all starts: – Really? This is not the first time I have a blog. I had one more than a year ago. But suddently I could not find my identity in it anymore. My life and priorities had changes from the time I created it and I felt I had to keep on writting about the same topics since my followers expected this. Then I just decided to delete it.
