5 REASONS WHY DATING AN OUTDOOR GUIDE IS AWESOME

I am so lucky that I have my own personal Bear Grylls! Victor is an experienced outdoor guide and I am so proud of him. We are not talking “Sunny Beach” or “Springbreak in Cancun” guide. This guy knows his shit and his knowledge about history, nature, animals and outdoor life is impressing. I actually thought about being guide myself many years ago but society told me I should go to the University and read some books about things I already forgot about. Who knows, maybe he convince me to pursue this old dream. Sure it sounds more fancy to say that your boyfriend or husband is a lawyer or doctor. But[…]

Chile life: we almost had to leave our life in Puerto Natales because of an accident

Monday the 31st of October. Everything was going great. Victor had a lot of work to do, I was approaching my first month of work and we had a 1-day trip to Argentina Tuesday to see the impressive glacier Perito Moreno. Some days earlier we had made a list of things we wanted to do during the season and after the season. We calculated the money we had and how much we would earn. We were being very positive about the future! Then I got a message from Victor that took us through an emotional roller coaster ride through the not-so-friendly Chilean health system. THE ACCIDENT IN TORRES DEL PAINE[…]

How did Victor and I meet each other? You better ask “where”!

People often ask how Victor and I met each other and I always start the story by saying “the amazon jungle in the middle of nowhere”. As mentioned in my Sunday Confessions 5 I dont believe in coincidences but yes, this random place on earth was where I met him. So what was I doing there? I was travelling 1 month alone in Colombia, wasn’t looking for anyone, I just came out of a relationship 3 months earlier and this trip was kind of a personal journey where I had to re-discover how to be alone again. I was approaching my last week in Colombia and my plan was going to Leticia to visit[…]

Sunday Confessions 5

This Sunday Confession is a bit special because it´s something I still have some kind of mixed feeling about. I have a bachelor in Spanish and Int. Business Communication. I was in doubt whether I should choose English instead of Spanish, but today I am really happy for my choice, it seems like it all made sense in regards to where I am today. My master on the other hand.. I never really liked it. But I thought to myself that I would be happy about it when I was done. On the positive side people with a Master in IT, Communication and Organisation are really attractive in the Danish labour[…]

I am not escaping from Denmark. 11 days back!

I have less than 2 weeks back in Denmark and it means I really have to finish all my practical stuff that have been in a “I got plenty of time” category for a long time. Now Im suddenly like “damn! I am running out of time! Panic!”. I needed to terminate many of my subscriptions like “danmark” insurance, fitness membership and my home insurance. Then I have packed my things things in boxes and made decisions like what to bring and what to leave. It´s still in a process. I have ordered an extra credit card, bought Chilean pesos but still need to buy some things like a 33L backpacker. I still[…]

This is not a quit-your-job-and-go-travel blog

Since I re-launched the blog I have had some different questions from people and I think maybe there has been some misinterpretations about me and the blog. So I will try to explain a little bit more about me and the purpose of the blog 🙂 This is not a travel blog. This blog is about inspiration. Inspiration comes in many shapes, not only by travelling though my big passion in life is travelling, meeting new people and explore other cultures. I rather by a trip somewhere in the world then buy a new car or have a fancy TV. There will be posts about travels, but it´s not only[…]

Yet another blog: what this blog is NOT about!

Yet another blog from someone thinking her damn social life is that important to share with the rest of the world. Jesus! So what’s new? Well… I have been thinking a lot about the purpose of this blog and what kind of blog I want it to be. I got many visions about it, but I will like to start telling what this blog is NOT going to be about and what you will not expect to find here: Fashion and make-up: Honestly, I don’t know s*** about fashion. All this hype about famous people like what Kendall Jenner is wearing, which rapper has started a new clothing collection in collaboration[…]

Every little thing is gonna be all right

Once I was a very pessimistic person: I put myself in a victim position. I was a unlucky person, things never turned out in my favour and the world were therefore unfair. Every time something went wrong I told myself that it was because I was unlucky and it was a typical situation for me. Hard work just did not pay off for me. Many years ago I won a course about the book “The Secret” and how to use its approach in practice. I’ve never heard about the book, but the course was an eye-opener. I realised my way of thinking was not healthy. I attracted negative energy. So I had[…]

When a door closes a new one opens

When a door closes a new one opens This is basically my life right now. As you could see in my former posts, my and my boyfriend were going 6 months to Mexico. First of all to take a step out of the treadmill; spend time together, travel, explore and have fun. No exact plan and open for everything. Maybe we could find a job and live in Mexico? We had so many great ideas. But life is unpredictable and sometimes things don’t work as planned. After 7 weeks we travelled back to Denmark. We were no more a couple. We had 7 wonderful weeks in Mexico and I don’t[…]
